Release 2 Tablet, Acer Netbook Slowly Reducing

This year, Acer plans to release a tablet PC with two different sizes. Reportedly, this Acer step at a time as part of efforts to gradually reduce netbook products.

Taiwan-based company is scheduled to launch a tablet-sized 7 and 10 inches in July 2011. Both, as said Sales Manager for Acer Lu Bing-Xian, will run the Android operating system and uses the latest Intel processor Intel, Sandy Bridge.

"The launch of the second tablet netbook products will begin to replace gradually, in accordance with market demand. Because the tablet into the current market direction," said Bing-Xian as quoted from PC World, on Wednesday (19/01/2011).

He said, Acer is still producing netbook which has been the flagship product, but with the number of units less than in previous years.

Armed with four processor cores, Bing-Xian promising Acer tablet will be more drag than a laptop with Windows operating systems. No more leaks about details of both products. Looks like Acer is trying to keep it secret for a surprise when its release later.
