RIM BlackBerry Dual Core Design

Research in Motion (RIM) does not want to miss the train to see the trend dual core processors in mobile devices. This confirms BlackBerry manufacturer will release a BlackBerry smartphone with the processors'two brains'.

"We are working on multi-core processors and QNX smartphone is our multi-core platforms for such devices,"the greeting Mike Lazaridis, RIM co-CEO.

 


QNX is an operating system which is now owned by RIM's new BlackBerry implemented in tablet Playbook. It's just stating BlackBerry Lazaridis dual core is the long-term project. This means that consumers will not get it on the market in the near future.

Today, RIM's new focus is devoted to a Playbook. When asked why BlackBerry handsets can not be marketed soon by adopting a dual-core processor, Lazaridis replied that the durability of batteries, size, weight and cost of manufacture is still a barrier factor.

"I think the current multi-core platforms just perfect for the tablet only,"said she, told TechRadar and quoted on Tuesday (11/01/2011). RIM had to wait until the hardware components for mobile-based dual-core processors in accordance with their wishes.

Currently, some manufacturers have set up mobile dual-core, call it vendor Motorola and LG Electronics. Apparently, RIM also want to see first how consumer responses to the prior dual core smartphone market itself.

Power measuring vehicle via iPhone and BlackBerry

To know the power output of a vehicle, the modifiers are usually using a tool dynamometer. Well, now there are applications for the iPhone and the BlackBerry that has a similar function.

The application is titled Dynolicious (iPhone version) and DynoStorm (version of the BlackBerry). Both products made by Bunsen Tech was already available in the App Store or the BlackBerry App World and was pegged at $ 13 price range.

How to use was fairly easy. Quoted from the official website on Tuesday (12/21/2010), this application does not require any data connections or satellite signals, just utilize the existing accelerometer features of the phone.

Perhaps, just by utilizing the accelerometer calibration, these applications can measure a vehicle's top speed, acceleration speed, until the character of the machine used.
