WikiLeaks Former Employees Ready to Launch OpenLeaks

Some people who have withdrawn from the project was in conflict with WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, plans to launch a new site called OpenLeaks. This is done because they assess Assange have failed in managing WikiLeaks.
"Long-term goal of this site is to build a strong and transparent platform in support of state government in terms of both technology and politics," said one of the initiators OpenLeaks who do not want to be identified told the Swedish newspaper, Dagens Nyheter quoted by CNET News, Thursday (12/09/2010).

Intel Technology Peak Light There Is No Light

An early version of Intel technology connection will not use the Light Peak of light, as a practical realities dictate a more conventional technology, according to industry sources familiar with Intel's plans for the Light Peak.

Light Peak has been touted by Intel as the holy grail connector technology, imagine it as a single replacement for the various cables that currently leads on the monitor, external drives, scanners, printers, and anything else that plugs into a computer.

As originally proposed, the technology of fiber optics connecting multiple devices to a PC with an optical fiber line. But early versions of Light Peak will use copper instead of light-based technology, according to industry sources familiar with Intel's plans.

LightPeak significantly faster than USB 3.0, carry data at 10 gigabits per second in both directions simultaneously. The connection speed will not be affected by the transition to copper, according to several sources.

LightPeak is on track to appear in products in the first half of 2011 - and possibly the beginning of the year rather than later. Intel has received support from both Sony and Apple, which is expected to be among the first to use the technology.

Dell Will Release New Android 2 Tablets

Want to repeat the success of Streak, Dell plans to add variants tablets by launching two new products. Streak Dell's second generation and a new tablet is still a secret.
Streak Dell made its debut in Indonesia since October 2010 ago. Tiny tablets at once became the first Dell tablet that uses the Android operating system.

Seeing this phenomenon, Dell optimistic to continue to launch variants of tablets that will be released several months ahead.
"Yes, in Indonesia we will be releasing the Dell Streak 2 and a new tablet in February next," promised Willy, after launching new products in the FX Plaza, on Thursday (12/09/2010).
Dell Streak 2, supposedly has slightly better specifications than its predecessor. For example, use larger resolution 1280 x 800 pixels. While the first generation Streak just 480 x 800 pixels.
"Dell Streak 2 also later will use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor," added Willy.
