This version is only offered pre-installed by OEMs (Original Electronic Manufacture). Therefore it will only be available through the OEM channel, on a new PC computers only certain types.
Windows 7 Home Basic:
This version will be provided only to developing countries, where consumers want a Windows version for beginners.
Windows 7 Home Premium:
Windows 7 Home Premium is one of the recommended options to consumers, as claimed Microsoft will provide full functionality. This version, according to Microsoft, providing a rich visual experience, suitable for entertainment, also allows users to make connections with other devices.
Windows 7 Professional:
This version is recommended for small-scale companies and for people who work at home but must have a business environment where security and productivity is vital. For those who have been using Windows Vista Business, according to Microsoft, should be 'moved' to this version.
Windows 7 Ultimate:
This version is for the fans of the computer (PC enthusiast) who want all the features of Windows 7, including security features like BitLocker provided by Windows 7 Enterprise Edition.
Windows 7 Enterprise:
This version is also available as an Enterprise edition, Microsoft's annual customer to be bound Software Assurance agreement. This edition will not be available in the retail market or on a new computer in the OEM channel. It includes various features to businesses such as data protection, PC management tools, and other features designed to reduce corporate costs.
