
This was revealed during Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer spoke at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Vegas, the related growth WP7 application. "Our customers can now access more than 100 applications every 24 hours," he said as quoted from Mashable, Thursday (06/01/2011).
He also said that there are currently more than 20,000 developers who develop applications in the Marketplace.
Balmer said the key to a success is dependent consumer satisfaction. "When they see these phones, they'll instantly fall in love," he added. Earlier it was reported that the handset WP7 has sold 1.5 million units in the six weeks since its marketing.
Marketplace, launched in conjunction with Windows 7 Phone in October 2010 in several countries. At the end of the Balmer said the phone calls that consumers like Windows because of a sharp, easy to use and comfortable.
