Microsoft today gave the name to new server software, Windows Server 2012, which will be released this year. The new name was announced to coincide with the keynote Microsoft Management Summit (MMS) 2012 held in Las Vegas until next Friday. This name does not make the shock of many, which has become a habit to call Microsoft software according to the year / release date, for example, just the previous generation known as the Windows Server 2008.
