Samsung Galaxy Player will Appear at CES 2011

Samsung has just announced that it will display a Galaxy player, music player device based on Android at CES 2011 which take place next week. The gadget is said to be inspired by the success of Galaxy S Samsung phones with similar specifications but without cellular connectivity.

Galaxy Player (YP-GB1) has a thickness of 9.9 mm, using Android 2.2 Froyo, wearing a 1GHz processor, 1200mAh battery, the screen 4-inch Super Clear LCD WVGA resolution (800 × 480 pixels), T-DMB, SoundAlive audio technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.2MP rear camera and front camera for video calls. In addition, embedded GPS, HD video player, microSD card slot, plus access to Android Market and Samsung Apps.



 Apart from the Galaxy Player, Samsung is also rumored to be featuring other portable music players like the YP-G50 and the YP-GB70.
