As noted in a written statement on Friday (10/12/2010), RIM will hold a conference called the BlackBerry World in May 2011 in Orlando, United States.
Unlike the WES, which is more focused on the enterprise world, the BlackBerry World promised to show all aspects of the BlackBerry. It includes the world's Enterprise and consumer retail.
RIM itself does not necessarily remove the WES. Only, this time WES will be part of the BlackBerry World besides there are many tracks and other sessions are more extensive.
RIM said the BlackBerry World will be the event that bring together business people, IT professionals, BlackBerry Channel Partners (eg telecom operators), software vendors to industry analysts.
"This is a meeting with the broadest range of wireless experts in one place within a year," said RIM in BlackBerryWorld.com site.
In 2011, RIM BlackBerry DevCon will also hold Asia for the first time. This event will be held in Bali, Indonesia, in early 2011.
