Sony SLT-A77 (A700 successor) Announced, Coming Mid-2011

Rumors that Sony will update its A700 DSLR camera product fulfilled, after begin to blow from last year. Sony has announced its newest camera products SLT A-77 that will be present in mid-2011.

Camera Sony SLT A-77 is also rumored to be using the same transparent mirror with the Sony A-55 and A-33. This allows for more advanced functions, realtime autofocus while recording HD video and capture images. Behind the mirror there was Exmor CMOS sensor which is still unknown how many will accommodate MP (estimated 20MP).

In addition, there is also a kit lens, battery grip, lens 500mm f / 4 G-series, and a new flash that was published to accompany the camera productions. Not yet known what price range will be priced for this Sony SLT-A77. See image below for more details:




Sony also showed 7 E-mount lens that is under development, here is the list is:

  • Carl Zeiss lenses - Hiroshi Sumi (Scheduled for release in 2011, focal length: 24mm)
  • Telephoto zoom lens (available in 2011, the focal length :55-200mm) 
  • Macro lens (Scheduled for release in 2011, focal length: 30mm) 
  • Lens - Portrait (Scheduled for release in 2011, focal length: 50mm)   
  • G - High-performance standard zoom lens (available 2012) 
  • Zoom wide (Scheduled for release in 2012
  • Medium Telephoto Lens (available 2012)
