ViesSonic - Prepare Android Smartphone and Tablet Dual-SIM Dual-OS for MWC 2011


In addition to upper-class companies such as LG, several other companies are also busy preparing its products for events such as ViewSonic MWC 2011. The company has set up two devices that will be exhibited in Barcelona which is a smartphone based on Android 2.2-dual SIM and a tablet dual-boot Android and Windows.

ViewSonic V350 is a smartphone with Android Froyo HVGA resolution 3.5-inch screen. There is a 5 megapixel autofocus camera in this smartphone plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS plus A-GPS and microSD card slot. V350 also features dual SIM card slots for connecting to two different mobile operator networks at the same time.

ViewSonic tablet product called ViewPad 10Pro. The tablet uses 10-inch screen with capacitive multi-touch LED screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Inside are features 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Devices that use Intel processors, according to ViewSonic's Oak Trail will have at least 6 hours of battery life.

The advantage of this tablet is able to boot using the Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.2 Froyo. ViewSonic is targeting this tablet for business customers. Unfortunately there is no information whether this tablet will be upgraded to the Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
