Why Multi-Core Processors in Mobile Devices Very Important

The development of computer technology has developed rapidly since 30 years ago. One aspect that affected the development of this technology is a micro processor which has been dominated by Intel for years, but for the affairs of mobile processors, Intel is not the monarch.

Currently, major players in the arena of micro processors for mobile devices is NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and Marvell. All companies are using the ARM architecture to make its mobile chipsets. Now NVIDIA has released Tegra processor 2 which is widely used in consumer electronic products in 2011, as tablet Xoom Motorola, LG Optimus 2X, LG Tab, LG G-Slate, Motorola Atrix 4G, etc.. While Qualcomm took tablets HP Touchpad and Texas Instruments took tablets Playbook RIM.

Even NVIDIA yesterday was demonstrating the latest quad-core chipset, which coded the name Kal-El.
Quad-core chip is claimed to have 5x higher than the performance of dual-core chipset Tegra 2. Kal-El is expected to target the tablet in August and the phone at the end of the year.

The real question, why do we need multi-core processors in mobile devices we?
and how important is it? The answer is quite brief, so that we can create software that much better. The more meaningful the more powerful core capability of mobile devices to perform high-level software.

Compare with software that is made in year 90 or web sites created in 2000 with all software and web sites that exist today.
Improved hardware directly will create quality software is increasing. Conversely good software there would be no meaning if not matched by a qualified hardware.

As if he thought quality software that will be present in the future, 5 or 10 years from now? Clearly, the presence of multicore processors in mobile devices is crucial.
