Attending the Opera browser on TV and Sony's Blu-ray

Working with vendors of electronic devices Sony, Opera browsers soon bring the TV and Blu-ray player. Opera said the browser is scheduled to attend the first integrated in the latest TV Sony, for Sony Bravia series.

"Opera aims to present an interactive component to connect users at home by offering solutions that Sony devices Opera for artistic merit," said Christen Krogh, Chief Development Officer of Opera Software as reported by Akihabara and quoted on Friday (21/01/2011).

In a statement, Krogh said browser integration and a TV and Sony's Blu-ray player will deliver web applications, widgets, full web browsing and various standards like HTML5, HbbTV and OIPF to the device user's home.

As the growing increase in home electronic devices in the family room connected to the Internet, the use of the Internet itself also change. Internet becomes increasingly close and connect with everyday people.

"Web, as we know is being evolved. And we are committed to make it more accessible on various devices," said Krogh.
