Compared to the iPhone, Android Easier Esophageal Virus

Android suspected to be more susceptible to viruses than Apple IOS. This is because Google's operating system that is open-source, making them more vulnerable to attack by hackers.

"Android is open-source, meaning hackers can easily understand the architecture and source code in it," said Steve Chang, Chairman of Trend Micro, quoted from Businessweek, Wednesday (01/12/2011).

Unlike other mobile phone operating system, Google is allowing application developers to access up to 'the inside' the Android. Inversely proportional to the IOS, which each application only needs permission from Apple before it is sold in iTunes.

That's what's alleged anti-virus software makers from Japan's thinking that the IOS is more secure than Android.

"We have to give appreciation to Apple, because they are very careful. So maybe there are almost no viruses on the iPhone," said Chang.

Chang also argues, in the next few years many Android users who will buy security applications for the cell phone. And as is known, that Trend Micro has also released anti-virus for Android
