Germany created the software 'Removal Shame'

You may not realize some photos uploaded to Facebook is very embarrassing, or even can destroy your career one day. Do not worry, there is now software that can 'erase disgrace' is.

A German technology company, X-Pire create software that allows the photos uploaded on social networks like Facebook, MySpace and Flickr are automatically deleted after a certain time.

In the era of social networking, problems due to embarrassing photos on Facebook are common. For example, it could be someone's boss refused to work after the company found a picture of the prospective employee was drunk on Facebook.

"This software prevents it. Before users post photos, she asked to drag into an electronic program that makes the photo will be valid for a limited period," said Michael Backes, founder of the X-Pire as quoted by AFP on Thursday (13
/ 01/2011).

If someone wants to see the photo later, the server will check if the photo has been 'expired' or not and block them if time has run out.

"The internet user can actually delete the photos from their social networking account, but based on their experience still missed," said Backes.

According to him, most users of social networking, like Facebook for example, is a passive user. They often do not realize has put so much information that should be private. More fatal, there is almost never visit their account anymore or they forget the password.

"The software is designed not for those who understand how to protect their data, but for large groups of people who want to solve the problem directly at its core and does not have to think about it anymore," said Backes.
