Android - will Mastering Smart Phone

Canalyst analyst claims that Android growth rate will continue to grow more than doubled in the smartphone OS market in 2011.

Chris Jones from Canalyst saying that Android is ready to claim 25 percent of the global smart phone market, with more than 20 million Android-based device shipments worldwide. Similarly, as quoted by the Inquirer, Friday (01/14/2011).

"Android growth rate is phenomenal, this is a direct perception of the market on that platform. We believe that this growth rate will continue to grow as Android also upgrade his OS," said Jones.

Android was launched in September 2008, after which many of the advanced version which has been released.

Different needs of its rivals have made developers create the UI to suit their Android devices. However, Android devices are still sold pretty well, as the developers are working on Android already using open-source OS to be able to reduce prices and bring the smart phone into a broader market.

Shipping Android grew more than 1,000 percent through the first three quarters of 2010, over the same period in 2009.

Jones said that with this momentum, smart phones and tablets based on Android will develop rapidly.
