BlackBerry Dakota and Apollo Appears

Various leaks new handsets continue to circulate in cyberspace. The one that was warmly discussed is the emergence of two new BlackBerry smartphones unit, called the Dakota and Apollo.

Site BGR is the first technology to get leaked specifications, complete with pictures BlackBerry Dakota. If the leak is accurate, it looks like Dakota that looks like a quite reliable Bold by Research in Motion (RIM) are at a great war in the realm of smartphones.

Dakota reportedly has a 5 mega pixel camera with HD video capability as well as the lights flash. Other features include 4GB of storage, 768 MB of RAM, a 3G mobile hotspots, Wi-Fi,
MicroUSB port, BlackBerry OS 6.1, 2.8-inch screen and a qwerty keyboard. That said, the screen Dakota will have touch screen capabilities like the BlackBerry Torch.

In addition to Dakota, comes BlackBerry Apollo is touted as the latest generation in the family Curve. Leaked specifications include use BlackBerry OS 6.1, Wi Fi, GPS, 5MP camera with flash and 512MB RAM. Only 11 mm thickness.

Quoted from Digital Trends, Friday (14/01/2011), there has been no official announcement from RIM regarding these two handsets. It is estimated, Dakota and Apollo will be introduced at the event Mobile World Congress (MWC), which took place in Barcelona next month
