Nokia Stop Free Music Service in 27 Countries

Nokia finally stop the service pack free music in 27 countries. Though the service was released in 2008 this was popular with the campaigns 'Comes With Music'.

Which countries are left behind this service is still not open to the obvious. But the report that became 'victims' of which is the UK and Singapore.

Then how in Indonesia? Nokia confirmed that it still continue selling phones bundled with free packages to the free music download service in Indonesia, the validity period is up to 12 months.

This treatment is similar to what happened in China and India. As for Brazil, Turkey and South Africa was just given a free service to six-month deadline.

Previously, Nokia has put high expectations on access to these services. Moreover, the giant mobile phone vendors have managed to hook the four major labels: Vivendi Universal Music, EMI, Warner Music Group and Sony.

Unfortunately, hope was hung high enough, that could rival Apple's iTunes service, seemed to fail.
Due to lack of interest of end users a free music service bundled with these Nokia music phone sales had to be closed in 27 countries.

"The market clearly wants DRM-free music service (digital right management)," said Nokia spokesman.

The reason, in the presence of DRM software will limit users to share songs from various devices. Nokia itself argued would continue to provide songs without DRM, and now has expanded its development in 38 countries.

Although the download service in 27 countries that have been determined is planned to be closed, but Nokia confirms will still let users who still subscribe to fixed line subscription to download music to an end.
