PSP 2 Can Online via 3G

The latest generation Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is not yet officially introduced, but one Japanese newspaper, Nihon Keizai Shimbun revealed some details about the handheld console. One of them support the internet via the 3G network.

According to the daily, the next PSP or a rumored as a PSP2, would support the internet connection via 3G network. As a partner Sony rumored to be holding one of Japan's largest operator, NTT DoCoMo.

Reported by IGN and quoted on Monday (1/24/2011), the 3G connection will be used to download games or movies, but not able to make phone calls.

In addition, the PSP2 is also mentioned going to carry the OLED touch screen with a processor and a better visual appearance than the previous generation.
